Monrob, a label of customizable bags, has signed an agreement with the Japanese company Sann Fréres for the exclusive distribution of the brand in Japan.The SS19 and FW 19/20 collections will be exclusively distributed on Japanese territory starting next autumn, the agreement marks a very important result for the brand that will be distributed in department stores and specialty stores.
Monrob, a brand of bags was born in 2015 from an intuition of the entrepreneur Roberto Palmieri, for over twenty years in the luxury sector, and from his wife and designer Maria Chiara Nasoni. Italian craftsmanship and modern design are the basis of Monrob creations. “The bag expresses the personality of every woman”, explains Maria Chiara Nasoni, “this is the goal I want to achieve with my collections now also in Japan”.
The brand is already distributed in Northern Europe paving the way for development in Italy and in the world, against an investment of 3 million euros, the expansion strategy focused on the organization of a high quality production chain, which allows monitor and control all production. The know-how of the two entrepreneurs was the basis for consolidating a vision totally focused on the concept of Italian heritage, a winning asset to enter first in Japan and soon in the United States
A multi-level commercial strategy, combining traditional selective distribution as in the case of Japan with Sann Fréres S.A but also e-commerce supported by strategic influencer marketing actions, to offer a multichannel distribution.
